This is the latest series of books that I just finished reading to the kids. The books are all about the heir to the Hairy Hooligan Tribe(a viking tribe), Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. They are a super fun read. I just thought I would recommend them in case you have not heard of the books, yet.
